The experience of pure bliss and liberation, a feeling of oneness and accessing the higher stages of awareness may also be presented.

This experience raises your vibration, purifies your system, helps you to release the stuck and stagnant energies, aligns your energy centres and links your energy pathways. It can be a deep opener for a new perception, and it can be a deep spiritual awakening experience.

Mama Cacao is a beautiful medicine, deliciously softening and heart-opening, she encourages compassionate inner listening and intuition. 

Drinking cacao together, we’re encircled in a community body of wisdom, sinking into the senses to draw upon our own innate resources; intuition, empathy, and healing.

Plant wisdom comes to us on different levels; there’s the nutrition our body absorbs and the sensual, pleasurable experience of heart openness.

It’s not advised to drink ceremonial cacao while taking anti-depressants or if suffering from arrhythmia. 

The following dietary guidelines are given because cacao is such an effective detoxifier: it’s advised to refrain from caffeine and alcohol, dairy and meat, and preferably processed foods and sugars for 24 hours before and after the ceremony.
