As modern people we have inherited a the grand tradition of avoidance, of feeling ourselves. From our parents, our society, our culture, this strategy of constantly avoiding (feeling into) ourselves. We’re presented limitless strategies of being busy or entertainment or alcohol or the rat race of success or sex or money, etc. Anything but feeling ourselves and our life. Even spiritual experiences, higher states, energy transmissions all can very easily become an extension of this project of turning away from oneself.
This session we will unpack the very foundation of genuine spiritual process - “an unmediated relationship to your experience, to yourself, to life itself”. This is a call to courageously meet yourself, as you are now... with no strategies of improvement (or expansion), in that meeting the true path begins.
Step out of the merry go round of self-improvement, let us inquire truly what this self is to begin with. Not as a philosophy or a belief system, but as the very ground for true practice.
Let this ground the energy transmissions or higher states, if not all becomes an escape.
And once we turn away from ourselves, no matter what we experience, there will be no real growth, no real journey.
