Himalayan Retreat with Diana & Sri

Be immersed in high vibrational transmissions of life force (SHAKTI) & consciousness (SHIVA) with daily energetic activations, along with visits to sacred sites that hold immense grace-fields, that you can deeply nourish your innermost self. The retreat will take place in Dunagiri, a sacred valley which is constantly bathed in healing and expansive energies that flow from multiple ancient temples & places of pilgrimage.

The Programme

Each day of your stay in Dunagiri will be filled with a number of energy activation sessions, spiritual practices, meditations, and practices drawn from Kriya Kundalini Yoga practices, along with travel to the sacred places on selected days.

The programme includes daily Kundalini Activation and Consciousness Expansion sessions along with various practices and tools to engage in deepening your connection to the Divine force, all in the peaceful and sacred space created and guided by Diana & Sri. The pace of the programme and the quantities of the sessions were carefully chosen to create a container for the greatest possibility for deep inner fullness to manifest.

Rooted in the ancient yogic culture of India, Sri’s path has primarily been devoted to Shakti. Drawing on direct energetic activation & kundalini kriya yoga, his work is an invitation for the depth & intensity of Grace to unfold in her full expression.

Dunagiri Devi Shakti-peetha

All across India there are 51 sacred sites where the mother force manifests in a very strong way, these are collectively called Shakti-petha meaning ‘seat of power/divine energy’. Dunagiri is one amongst them, the whole temple is infused with subtle & strong spiritual energy of the divine mother as well as the collective field of many advanced yogis who have been doing their sadhana (spiritual practice) here. This temple is very ancient, it goes back not in years, centuries nor even millennia, which antiquities are usually calculated in, but rather in terms of Yugas! (Ages/Eras in Sanskrit) A place where mysticism abounds, Dunagiri vibrates with numerous stories, sacred legends and myths.

Mahavatar Babaji Cave

It was here that the great siddha made popular in Yogananda’s ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ as Mahavatar Babaji initiated the revival of Kriya yoga in the modern times. He is said to have meditated in this particular series of caves & it is also here that he initiated Lahari Mahasaya who’s considered the father of the kriya movement in the modern times. Simply sitting in the cave, one is immediately drawn into deep absorption and depths of meditativeness by the powerful energies that still pulsate here.

The Retreat Centre

The Accomodation

All rooms are luxuriously sized, ethnic while being modern. Minimalist and spartan by design, their elegant and unpretentious ambience allows you to connect with the breathtaking surroundings. All rooms feature spectacular native forest and mountain views, and all cottages have a view of Mahavatar Babaji's cave. Our accommodation is perfect for you to sit with a cup of chai or any one of our herbal teas; to snuggle up with your favourite book; or to gently withdraw from the outer world into your inner being. All meals will be provided using locally sourced ingredients and suitable for vegetarians.

This retreat is not a cultural exploration but a profound spiritual pilgrimage, offering you the opportunity to connect with the powerful energies of the Himalayas. It is designed for those who are deeply devoted to their spiritual growth and aspirations.

Throughout this journey, we will blend energetic activations, meditations, visits to sacred sites, and time immersed in the energy of a highly charged and sacred valley. Every moment holds the potential for deep transformation, inviting those who are ready to embark on meaningful inner work.

To ensure alignment and preparation for this profound experience, participation is open only to regular attendees of Diana and Sri’s classes/ programmes or retreats and requires prior attendance of at least one immersion. This allows for a deeper understanding of our teachings and resonance with the energetic space we share.

Retreat Itinerary

Our retreat commences on September 24th from Pant Nagar Aiport, a gathering point where our spiritual journey unfolds. A private transport awaits, ready to lead us on a scenic 5-hour drive through the majestic Himalayas, fostering connections among fellow pilgrims along the way.

Upon arriving at the retreat centre, nestled amidst nature's embrace, we take time to settle in and attune ourselves to the tranquil surroundings, preparing for the spiritual journey ahead.

From September 25th to September 30th, each day is dedicated to spiritual exploration and sacred practices. Days are filled with energy activation, expansion sessions and practice in building connections with mountains and masters whose presence and wisdom are palpable.

On some days we travel to sacred sites, including Babaji Cave and Dunagiri Devi Shakti-peetha, offer moments of reflection and reverence, enriching our pilgrimage experience.

October 1st provides a day for integration, allowing everyone to reflect on their journey and absorb its teachings amidst the serene ambience of the retreat centre.

On October 2nd, our hearts ablaze with the fire of spiritual renewal, we bid farewell to the retreat centre, carrying the blessings of our spiritual journey as we return to the world, enriched and renewed.

In the early morning, we'll begin on a tranquil drive back to Pant Nagar airport.

Recommendation

Please be advised there is no internet and phone connection in Dunagiri, once we arrive at the retreat centre, you will not be able to make any phone calls nor have internet connection for the entire duration of the stay.

We suggest contacting a travel health specialist for advice regarding optional vaccinations and please ensure to bring the suggested medication with you, especially motion sickness tablets.

Your travel insurance is not included as part of our package, we suggest purchasing travel insurance with an agent of your choice.

Your visa is also not included, you can apply for a visa yourself or contact a travel service to arrange it for you.

The average temperature in the Dunagiri in October is around 15°- 22°. days should be pleasant and sunny, the temperature at night will drop to around 4°, please bring appropriate clothing with you.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:

A 300 deposit is required to secure your spot, and 50% this deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel 8 weeks or more before the retreat, you'll receive a full refund of any additional payments made beyond 50% of the deposit.
For cancellations between 3-7 weeks in advance, you will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 3 weeks before the retreat.
The remaining balance must be settled no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of the retreat.
